Here is the list of Top 10 FREE Apps available on the iPhone.
From 10th to 6th place....
10. BBC iPlayerThe mobile version of the popular catch-up service, the iPlayer web app allows you to stream previously aired radio and television programmes to your phone (only free in the UK though). The interface will be familiar to anyone who’s used the full iPlayer on line, and gives quick access to content from the last seven days. You can find the programme you’re after using a quick search then view it instantly. No fan of the beeb should be without it.
9. Trainline(Current version: 1.1)With access to UK train timetables it's the perfect application for anyone who needs access to train information anywhere, anytime.
8. Facebook(Current version:3.1.4)
How could Facebook not be higher, answer… it should be. It’s a good app with an easy to use interface. You can use Facebook Chat, check your friends' latest photos and status updates, look up a phone number, aswell as upload your own mobile photos to Facebook.
7. Sky PlusThe Sky+ free app allows you to browse seven days worthof TV listings (400 channels), aswell as search for detailed programme information. A clever addition allows you to schedule remote recordings on Sky Plus, so you can record a programme on you Sky+ Box at the touch of a button.

6. Amazon(Latest version: 1.2.7)A useful app, its key features include everything you would expect: the ability to purchase items, check out personalized recommendations, view editorial and customer reviews, watch movie trailers and listen to song sample. A very cool feature allows the user to take a picture of an item (ie. the book) which the app will recognise and bring back as a search result for it along with Amazon price. I use this, it works incredibly well.
