VSI-thinking has developed a sophisticated solution for brochure publication on the web. Your existing brochures can be published to the web in minutes, using our 3 stage process;
Import
A brochure, created in a document publishing system or design software, is uploaded as a multi-page PDF file. This file is split and saved as individual PDF files on our server, used later for stitching together customised brochures.
Create
Once the individual PDF files are created these are next rasterised into JPEG files for use in the web site. Each page is saved in three versions for use in different aspects of the site;
Full page; used for full screen reading page.
Half page; double page spreads look like you have the brochure open.
Thumbnail image; a contact sheet of double page spreads.
Publish
Each brochure has both validity and expiry dates to manage visibility. Further, the management application allows questions to be associated with individual brochures for data protection and marketing along with an index manager to setup chapters and associate pages.
Customer Brochures Frontend
Visitors to the web site have three key options for accessing brochures; keyword search of content, traditional chapter index, or a contact sheet of double page spreads. Navigation of pages is simple with forward and back buttons, returning pages in an instant, and other functionality for printing and shopping cart all accessible in one menu.

- Mobile version of the brochure site is a useful service for customers on the move.
- Shopping basket of pages; selecting individual page content rather than predefined sections.
- Printable customised brochures, selected as a shopping basket.
- Product page links; hooks to buy products direct from the web.
