SPC International

SPC International is the largest independent component repair and refurbishment business in Europe. With a database of thousands of parts available for sale, repair and refurbishment, SPC International needed to place their entire capability online. A 12 month project has seen not only a new web site and online identity produced, but several aspects of the business have also moved online. The web site is focused on converting visitors, searching the huge online parts inventory, into customers through a simple three stage process. Existing customers have access to an online business information system to track the progress of repaired parts through the business. Another aspect of this business information tool allows their customers to view the performance of SPC International in achieving the required targets for completing repairs.

SPC International derives some sophisticated customer information from profiling customers as they move around the web site. New and existing customers are tracked and part enquiry habits derived. This extends to eNewsletters which are published and responses directly tracked, to provide the sales team with a contact list of names and telephone numbers of visitors to contact. As an international company SPC must provide services in many languages. VSI-Thinking has recently produced a French version of the web site and is soon to release German and Spanish versions.
