Corporate Responsibility
Long before corporate responsibility became a fashionable or worse still a marketable concept VSI-thinking understood their responsibility to the community. Our founder and Managing Director Mark Thomas focused all efforts in one area to ensure that a difference could be made. He believed in direct support and contribution rather than simple donation. To this end VSI-thinking is proud to have been associated with Hijinx Theatre Company, one of Wales most celebrated and successful touring theatre companies.
Hijinx work with adults with learning disabilities, something our Managing Director Mark Thomas is committed to supporting. In 1999, VSI-thinking approached Hijinx Theatre to produce a web site and online systems to promote their tours and their work in the community. After a couple of years of being a dedicated member, Mark Thomas was invited to be a trustee on the board of Hijinx, where he continued to serve for 6 years.
VSI-thinking has not only provided a number of web sites, but IT support for the company, helping them move to the current offices in the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. This support has been recognised twice with two 'Recommended' awards from Arts & Business in Wales. VSI-thinking gladly accept their responsibilty to give back to the community and local area while focusing on web design Cardiff.
